Technical University of Košiciach or TUKE for short is a state educational institution, one of the top five universities in the country. TUKE diplomas are valued almost all over the world, the university is a member of the European University Association and actively participates in student exchange programs.

TUKE has been operating in its current form since 1952. However, teaching technical disciplines according to European university standards in Košice began in 1957, because it is the second largest city in the country after the capital. The city’s population is a quarter of a million residents.

Living and Study Conditions

A medium-sized university trains about ten thousand students, for whom a comfortable urban campus is provided. The dormitory conditions meet European standards, the location allows you to get to school by public transport.

Education in the Slovak language is free. Modest fees for a technical university of this level are charged in the event of:

  • getting a second degree;
