Higher Education in Slovakia for Free
STUDYING AT STATE UNIVERSITIES IN SLOVAKIA – IS FREE! In 2014, a law was passed offering free education at all state universities in Slovakia for all international students, provided they study in the Slovak language. However, almost all state universities require international students to have a state-certified certificate of Slovak language proficiency. Such a certificate can only be obtained in preparatory courses (paid), accredited by the Ministry of Education of Slovakia. This is the only cost you’ll need to cover in the process of obtaining higher education.
